Joining VoiceStack as an Associate Product Manager, working on AI-powered phone systems for dental practices and DSOs. New domain, new stakes. Right now the job is learning: how a practice actually runs its front desk, where the calls go, and what breaks between a ringing phone and a booked appointment.
Closed out
Two years at Zuper ended in July. The roofing vertical is live and cloneable, and the booking work is in the product team's hands. Both case studies stay up. They're the clearest record I have of how I think.

Iris: the web app is fully built. Now extending it to mobile. The mobile MVP exists; the real build is underway.

→ How much of a vertical do you actually have to live in before your product instincts are worth anything? I think the answer is longer than most people admit.
→ When should a voice agent stop talking and hand the call to a person? Getting this wrong in one direction wastes staff time. Getting it wrong in the other loses a patient in pain.
→ Every AI receptionist demos well. The ones that survive seem to win on unglamorous things: writing correctly into a practice management system, handling a name the transcriber mangles. I want to know if that holds.
→ How do you design AI that steps back while still doing its job, reducing cognitive load for people under operational pressure instead of adding to it?
